These are some designs I made for The Brooke Gallery in my mother's home town of Kuching, Malaysia. The Gallery displays the rich history of the state of Sarawak, on the island of Borneo. The fort on which the line drawing based also houses the exhibition. The fonts used were chosen by the Trust that runs the Gallery. Three ticket types (Local ticket pictured) were created, each colour coded with the colours of Sarawak. I created these designs in 2016.
This is a photo of Mies van der Rohe's Farnsworth House in Illinois. This is one of my favourite pieces of Architecture thanks to its intrinsic link to the area around it. I love how the green trees surrounding the house act as its privacy, allowing the use of glass on the 'exterior' walls of the structure. Almost as if the trees are the external walls of the house. This photo was taken by my cousin when she visited the site a few years ago.
This is a picture I took myself in San Francisco, while hanging out the side of a trolley car. It is a personal favourite of mine, displaying the long hills of the San Francisco downtown. I also love the symmetry created by the tram line in the and the people going about their day in the foreground. Taken on a Canon 1100D, ISO 400, 1/320, f/11.
